Our Savage Pre-Fit stainless steel barrels are available in select calibers, lengths, twist rates and come in a standard straight taper contour.
Your barrel will arrive threaded and chambered for an easy install — just spin them on, set the headspace with gauges, and tension the barrel nut.

NOTE: All PROOF Research Savage Pre-Fits are designed for the small shank barrel nut.

To determine which action you have, measure the length of the factory barrel nut. The factory "small shank" barrel nuts are 7/8" long. Barrel nuts measuring 5/8" long are a "large shank" and will not be compatible with our barrels.
