Great Barrel
These barrels shoot extremely well (still testing) with lower-end match ammo to start. The ammo selection is predicated on rim thickness, i.e., priority to Eley ammo to start. This barrel was installed on a CZ455 VPT. Note: the barrel did not fit, so I contacted the great folks at Proof, who sent for the barrel and my action. Their chief engineer discovered that some CZs require you to loosen the mag well, and the barrel slips in for a perfect fit of .043". I ran into the exact same issue with a CZ457 and Lilja barrels. Install the barrel, torque to your spec, and retorque the mag well. Take the time to check the headspace on your receiver while the barrel is out and it will provide you with a starting point for ammo.
