What is PROOF's PXT barrel technology?

PXT stands for PROOF Exponential Twist. Instead of a uniform twist rate from chamber to muzzle, PXT barrels use a progressive twist that starts slower at the throat and accelerates toward the muzzle. This design reduces throat erosion and fouling while maintaining bullet stability, which can extend barrel life and lengthen the interval between cleanings. PXT is available on select Elevation and barrel configurations.
