1000-Yard Ready Package

Barrel Break In: All barrels will increase in speed. To do load development before this speed up happens will render the load development useless. We carefully monitor the velocity until we see a significant increase (30-60 fps) which usually takes around 40 to 60 rounds. Once break in has been achieved we clean the rifle and begin load development.

Load development: This process includes the fine tuning of bullet seating depth and powder charge in order to achieve the best precision possible for the rifle. The Extreme Spread (ES) of our velocity is usually under 10 fps and Standard Deviations (SD) is usually around 3-5 fps. Though the sub-quarter MOA precision and low ES and SD are not guaranteed, they are the norm.

Ballistic Profile Specifications: Scope height, velocity, twist rate, and all ballistic data to include bullet Ballistic Coefficient (BC), powder charge, Base to Ogive, and Cartridge Overall Length will be provided with the package. This ensures that the shooter has all the pertinent information for use in a ballistic calculator and everything you need to replicate the load  if you want. We will also provide a dummy round for you to take measurements if requested.

Sight in and validated out to 1000 yards: The rifle is sited in and shot out at distance to ensure functionality of the turret and verification of all associated data. This information is provided to the shooter as well. 

Ballistic Programing/Custom Turrets: If you are buying a ballistic range finder or kestrel we will program the ballistic computer for you so everything is ready upon arrival. If you own one of these items you are free to ship them to us for programing. In certain situations we may suggest the use of ballistic turrets and for most scope models we can have custom turrets cut according to your load data.

Custom Ammo: Upon request we can provide you with custom loaded ammunition. Your load data is tied to your rifle serial number and thus can be ordered from us at any time.
